AMERICAN SPORTS ENTERTAINMENT COMPANY, LLC (“ASEC”) is the leadingindependent owner/operator of ice skating rinks and sports facilities in the United States. ASEC currently owns and/or operates 23 extraordinary facilities across the nation with prestigious local brands, including the official training centers of the LA Kings (Toyota Sports Performance Center), Los Angeles Lakers (UCLA Health Training Center), and Carolina Hurricanes (Invisalign Arena).

Additionally, ASEC owns and operates distinctive multi-sport centers, which include New York’s acclaimed and highly regarded House of Sports.  Our success stems from an unwavering commitment to exceptional customer service, impeccable operations, deep seeded passion, and superior athletic development.  

We have demonstrated consistent and sustained growth through operational excellence and disciplined acquisitions within ice, volleyball, soccer, basketball, and other recreational sport venues.

Where We Stand

30+ facilities across the country, built one acquisition and one team partnership at a time — including our most recent partnership with the New York Islanders at the Northwell Health Center and Iceworks on Long Island, NY. Roughly 1,500 team members. Millions of athletes and skaters, from first Learn-to-Skate sessions to pro-team practice ice.

2025
Blackhawks Ice Center

ASEC joins the Chicago Blackhawks as strategic operating partner at the expanded Fifth Third Arena — rebranded Blackhawks Ice Center — bringing best-in-class guest services, scheduling, and learn-to-play programming to the facility's 4 ice sheets, including the Chicago Steele USG Arena.

2023
Raleigh Land Acquisition

ASEC acquires six acres at Polar Ice Raleigh to build a second sheet, expanding capacity for Carolina Hurricanes youth programs.

2022
Wilmington & Paramount Iceland

ASEC adds a single-sheet rink in Wilmington, NC, and joins the LA Kings and AEG to acquire the historic Paramount Iceland facility from the Zamboni Family.

2021
Wake Competition Center

ASEC adds Wake Competition Center in Morrisville, NC — a twin-sheet, 115,000 sq. ft. ice facility plus two full-size outdoor turf soccer fields, and the practice home of the Carolina Hurricanes, Jr. Hurricanes, and the Accelerator School.

2019
Pickwick Ice, Burbank

The LA Kings and ASEC acquire Pickwick Ice, and re-brand it LA Kings Ice at Pickwick Gardens with a full facility renovation.

2016
Raleigh Center Ice

ASEC forms partnership to operate official practice and training facility for the Carolina Hurricanes.

2015
House of Sports

ASEC acquires House of Sports in Ardsley, NY — a 120,000 sq. ft. multi-sport complex for lacrosse, basketball, baseball, and more.

2008
Growth Accelerates

A run of acquisitions and partnerships begins, carrying the company into New York, North Carolina, Texas, Arizona, and California.

2007
Toyota Sports Performance Center

AEG and the LA Kings partners with ASEC to operate all three NHL-grade rinks at Toyota Sports Performance Center — practice home of the Kings, Ontario Reign, and, at the time, the LA Lakers, whose training center relationship with ASEC continues today at the UCLA Health Training Center.

Founded

American Skating Entertainment Centers is founded in Westchester County, New York — the start of what becomes a leading independent owner/operator of ice skating rinks and sports facilities in the United States.
