The LA Kings are still on the ice in June, skating toward a historic Repeat, and now so can their fans, as the club is constructing the “LA Kings Repeat Rink” in front of STAPLES Center.
The ice rink, which will be 80’ by 40’ in size, will be located on Chick Hearn Court (directly in front of STAPLES Center.). “LA Kings Repeat Rink” will be open to the public, June 1st (Saturday) at 6 p.m. The rink will be open every day during the Kings playoff run (Monday – Friday from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. and Saturday – Sunday from 3 p.m. to 11 p.m.). The rink will remain open during all Kings home playoff games as well.
Admission to skate is $10 per person, which includes skate rental. However, L.A. LIVE patrons can receive $2 off by showing their receipt to one of the L.A. LIVE restaurants or theatre.
On Saturday evening (the rink’s opening) a special 2-for-1 discount will be offered to all fans. Kings mascot Bailey as well as members of the Kings Ice Crew will also be making an appearance.
On Monday, the Kings “Road To Repeat Bus” will be making its final stop of the day at the “LA Kings Repeat Rink.” Bailey and the Ice Crew will appear that evening as well, giving away special Kings prizes.
Special youth hockey clinics will be scheduled as well.
