Location: Raleigh, NC
The Cary Ice House is the original ice rink in the Raleigh area. It was originally built as a rollar skating rink in 1978 and was converted to an ice skating rink in 1986. The facility consists of a single sheet ice surface and is home to the Raleigh Youth Hockey Association and East Coast Eagles Hockey Club. There are a large variety of programs at the facility including youth and adult leagues, pick up games, broomball games, contract ice time for club, high school, tournaments, camps & clinics, birthday parties, day camps, and other sport -related sessions. The rink has been home to the 1987 US Olympic Festival and 2003, 2004, and 2005 North Carolina State Games.
