George Rios

Los Angeles Lakers Headquarters/Training Facility – El Segundo, CA

In 1999 George helped to prepare and open the Staple Center. George worked for AEG as the Staples Center Operations Manager until accepting his position with ASEC/Lakers. Working at The Staples Center for over 16 Years George managed the daily facility operations as part of 7 NBA Championships, 2 NHL Stanley Cup Championship, 3 WNBA Finals, 2 NBA All-Star Games, 1 NHL All-Star Game, the 2010 NHL Draft, NCAA Men’s Basketball Pac-12 Championships, 15 Grammy Awards and Countless Concerts, NBA and NHL Games. In 2007 George instrumental in the opening and management training the Microsoft Theatre (Formerly Nokia Theatre) at L.A. Live. Prior to joining AEG George was employed by Catellus Development at Los Angeles Union Station. During his tenure he was responsible for opening and maintaining the Patsaouras Transit Plaza (Los Angeles MTA Headquarters). In his off time, George enjoys playing sports and coaching youth league teams for his 3 sons.
